Police are investigating after a man was found lying on a street with serious head injuries in the early hours of this morning.
The 33-year-old overseas national has been taken to Queenstown Lakes Hospital in a critical condition after he was found in Turner St at around 6am.
鈥淧olice are making urgent enquiries to determine how the man came to be injured,鈥 a police statement said.
鈥淚t appears he was in the vicinity of Turner Street and Hallenstein Streets, Queenstown from about 2am, and police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have information to assist the investigation.鈥
